About TruLife Books

Making Books
Personal Again.

Behind every book is a person with something to say—a story to tell, an experience to share, or an idea that deserves to reach others.

At TruLife Books, we help authors turn that work into professionally published books. We bring thoughtful guidance, clear communication, and personal attention to a process that can otherwise feel overwhelming.

Our approach begins with understanding your manuscript, your readers, and what you want your book to accomplish.

Your book starts with you

Publishing Built Around the Author

No two authors come to publishing with the same needs.

You may have written your first novel. You may have an established audience ready for your next book. Or you may be a business owner, consultant, or speaker who wants to share expertise and strengthen a professional platform.

We believe your publishing plan should reflect those differences. That means discussing your goals, explaining your options, and defining the work and responsibilities before moving forward.

Making books personal again means treating both the author and the book with care.

Publishing options that fit your goals

Three Paths to Publication

TruLife Books offers three main publishing contract styles:

Publisher-funded

Traditional Publishing

For selected authors with an established platform and audience, TruLife Books covers the cost of publishing. We consider the manuscript alongside the author’s ability to reach and engage potential readers.

Shared investment

Hybrid Publishing

Hybrid Publishing is a shared investment. TruLife Books covers certain expenses, and the author covers others, with each party’s contribution and responsibilities defined in the agreement.

Author-funded

Self Publishing

With Self Publishing, the author funds publishing and promotion. This option is often suited to professionals who are using a book to support a business, share expertise, educate clients, or create new opportunities.

Each arrangement is built around the individual project. Services, costs, rights, compensation, and promotion responsibilities are outlined in the publishing agreement.

From manuscript to marketplace

Publish • Promote • Fulfill

These three words describe how we think about bringing a book into the world.

Publish

Prepare the manuscript and give it a professional presentation. Depending on the agreement, this may include editorial work, cover design, interior formatting, and preparation for print or ebook publication.

Promote

Help the right readers discover the book. We plan the promotional services included in the agreement and work with authors to identify how their audiences, relationships, and activities can support its launch.

Fulfill

Connect readers with ways to purchase and receive the book through the sales, distribution, and fulfillment arrangements established for the project.

Together, these stages create a practical path from manuscript to marketplace.

Our approach

What Matters to Us

Personal Attention

We take the time to understand your book and the purpose behind it.

Clear Communication

Authors should understand what happens next, what is included, and what is expected of them.

Professional Presentation

Editing, design, and production decisions should serve the book and its intended readers.

A Defined Partnership

A successful working relationship begins with clear terms and shared expectations.

Purposeful Publishing

Whether your goal is to entertain, inform, inspire, or support your business, that purpose helps shape the publishing plan.

Working together

A Partnership Beyond the Manuscript

Publishing a book is a collaborative effort. Authors bring their voice, knowledge, creativity, and connection to readers. We bring the guidance and publishing support defined in our agreement.

From the initial review through production, publication, and the next steps for your title, our focus is on a working relationship built on communication and care.

We want authors to feel informed, involved, and proud of the book they put into readers’ hands.
